450 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined (leave tails on)
Procedure
Prepare the poaching liquid
In a medium saucepan, combine cider vinegar (or beer), water, and Old Bay® Seasoning.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Cook the shrimp
Add the shrimp gently to the boiling liquid, then cover.
Cook just until the water comes back to a boil and the shrimp are opaque and cooked through (about 2–3 minutes).
Drain well.
Chill (optional)
Serve immediately warm, or allow shrimp to cool and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve
Serve shrimp with your preferred remoulade sauce on the side.
