Ingredients
Serves 6
- 50 g butter
- 50 g brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp all spice
- 2 tbsp Cholula hot sauce
- 3 Braeburn apples cut into small chunks
- Puff pastry ready rolled
- 1 egg for egg wash
Procedure
- Melt the brown sugar and butter in a pan then add the apples, spices and Cholula and simmer for 5 mins.
- Portion the apple mixture into a shallow bun tin.
- Cut the pastry to the side of the holes and cover.
- Pierce the pastry and then coat with the egg wash.
- Cook for 20 mins at 180°C then cool for 5mins.
- Flip onto a plate and serve with cream or ice cream.
