

This up-and-coming young chef is one to watch. Ruben first came to prominence after winning a coveted spot at Brixton Market after pitching a restaurant concept that spoke to his love of hand smoking meats. Ruben’s Reubens was born during the pandemic with the hiatus giving him time to further perfect the art of smoking.
It proved time well spent. Once the UK was back in business, Ruben purchased his very own smoker and used it to launch several highly successful popups, including a triumphant return to Brixton Market. You can currently find him at Vauxhall’s Darby’s where he runs Ruben’s Reubens as an evening service out of Darby’s Next Door.
